Her three-year stint playing Marina Cooper, in Guiding Light's soap opera earned her nominations for the Soap Opera Digest Awards 2003 in the Outstanding Newcomer category. Dollar appeared in the ABC soap opera Women's Murder Club as Cindy Thomas between 2007 between 2007 and the year 2008. She also portrayed Happy Valley in the 2012 NBC Pilot, which didn't get taken on.
