The date of her birth is March 29th, 1985 in Roswell New Mexico. Gerina is the given name of her. Gerina Stevenson was born to Mexican grandparents Rita Stevenson and Alan Stevenson. She has Mexican origins, however she is American in nationality. Gerina has always been an avid sportsperson. Gerina took up golf when she reached the age of 15. Gerina finished her high school studies in Goddard High School. As a high school student, Gerina won her first prize at the New Mexico golf state tournament. In addition, she was an athlete in volleyball who played at the state level. The first time she attended the University of Texas. She won all of the competitions she participated in during her senior years. In the course of her undergraduate studies she was awarded the title of Conference USA Female Athlete and Conference USA Individual Player of the Years.
