Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
I worked for months, working 12- hour days sanding floors and taking wallpaper down with the baby on my back and the others playing into the playpen. Ha! All was beginning to fall into place, however it was not quite done. For this project I was ready to invest a significant amount of money and spend time looking for my dream house. To keep the budget in check, I started going to estate sales with three sons to find gems hidden in the dirt. It was our weekly routine to walk around garage sales and auctions on Sundays and Saturdays and purchase a range of pieces old and newly created. It was my job to spend the day at the end of the driveway, working on painting or sanding. Furniture looked this way... and that's where I got my passion for restoring. When our house was decorated, I couldn't quit! There was an area at the local markets where I would sell my pieces. My collection eventually grew to the point that the space I had was no longer adequate. Open houses were held in my home where one 000 people could visit during a weekend. visitors could buy anything from the first floor. This is where my business Growing Days was born. Apart from my successful business, I also grew our family. I was balancing the demands between what it took to start a new business as well as a mother too. Growing Days fit perfectly. My beautiful Nora was born in 2013, our 4th child. I loved where my business was going, but I wanted some time off. I took some time away from the old furniture in order to spend the time I needed with my kids. It was exactly what I needed at that moment. After a while, off the phone started to call. Numerous people reached me to ask for advice regarding home improvements and decor. They were mostly people who visited my home to purchase furniture. I began taking on clients at a time taking my time however it wasn't for long to have several accounts, and I was operating the complete business of home remodeling. If you'd have predicted that this venture of mine could become the basis of a television show for the DIY Network I probably would have thought you were crazy. Actually I still kind of amused when I think of it.
